What We Offer

We offer a range of one-off workshops & short flying trapeze intensive for students who may not be able to attend our regular classes or who would like to level up their training.

Flying Trapeze Intensive with Swinging

24th & 25th August | 2024 | Kingswood

If you are interested in Flying Trapeze and Swinging Aerial Disciplines, then this 2-day flying trapeze intensive course is for you!

Each day will begin at 9am with a full warm up followed by a 2 hour Flying Trapeze session.

After Lunch, participants will take part in one session each of Swinging Trapeze (solo or doubles) and Cloud Swing. The day will end at around 6pm after a stretch and warm down session.

In addition to these session participants will also have access to aerial training throughout the day.

If participants are interested in any other aerial disciplines such as straps, rope, silks, hoop, static or dance trapeze please let us know.

Frequently Asked Questions

Pre-requisites

You do not need to have any experience in flying trapeze or swinging disciplines in order to take part in the intensive – we can adapt your sessions to fit your skill level!

However, it is important to know that you will be taking part in strenuous, high intensity exercise for 5 hours a day or more so participants need to be physically fit and prepared to take on this challenge.

What to bring?

Water bottle

Snacks / Food (Although there is a cafe on site)

Any comfortable clothing that you can move freely in such as leggings or joggers. No Baggy clothes, jeans or items above the knee are not suitable.

Participants may consider bringing items to protect their hands or the backs of their knees such as hand guards and/or tubigrips but this is not essential.

Where to find us?

The South Lawn

Kingswood Estate, Britannia Rd, Kingswood, Bristol BS15 8DB

Park in the Kingswood Estate Car Park and walk around the back of the building, through the green gate and onto the south lawn.

We are also on the 42/43 bus route from Bristol City Centre which usually take between 30/40 minutes.

A course leader will come to meet you in the carpark on the first day!

What is the venue like?

Most of the sessions will take place outside on the South Lawn on our aerial rigs.

There is a lovely cafe called the White Elephant on site where you can buy hot and cold drinks, a variety of snacks and tasty meals.

There is also a Lidl supermarket within ten minutes walking distance.
